Our history as Globalsat Group dates back to
1999 with the foundation of Globalsat Bolivia Ltda. Since then, we have forged connections with valuable clients in the oil and gas, mining, live media streaming, and environmental monitoring sectors, expanding our operation from the city of Santa Cruz to the rest of the Americas.

We have also led the industry in the development and implementation of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) projects, positioning ourselves as pioneers in this innovative field.
2004
/ Mexican Expansion via MultiSAT Alliance
We established a strategic alliance with MultiSAT-Distribución y Tecnologías SA de CV, with offices in Mérida, Yucatán, to cover the entire Mexican territory and also contribute the expertise developed in MultiSAT to our multinational organization.
2010
/ Disaster Response Leadership: Globalsat Chile Emerges
Responding to the high demand for mobile satellite products and services in Chile as a result of the devastating earthquake that same year, Globalsat Telecomunicaciones Chile Ltda. It was established, quickly becoming an undisputed leader in the segment.
Our presence extends throughout the territory, where we also provide service to other highly relevant institutions, including SeNaPReD, the Air Force, the police, and the emergency systems of regional governments.
2013
/ Peru Market Entry
We began operating in Peru under the legal entity Globalsat Perú Telecomunicaciones SAC / ST2 SAC, making a difference in that territory since January 2013 with our strategically located offices in San Isidro, Lima.

2014
/ Colombia and Brazil Operations Begin
The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) positioned Colombia among the top five in Latin America and the Caribbean, providing a unique opportunity to establish Globalsat Colombia Telecomunicaciones Ltda.
We obtained the license that enables us to provide satellite equipment and services, becoming a key player in the country's telecommunications sector, where we have focused especially on the development of M2M (Machine-to-Machine) satellite solutions for the energy industry.
Also in 2014, Globalsat Brasil began to take shape, with the obtention of the SMGS (MSS) and SCM (FSS) authorizations from Anatel.
That year, we began to form the team that would soon stand out by obtaining important contracts with large clients, through which our innovation and excellence have resulted in the optimization of their operations, greater personal security, and operational continuity in critical services such as electric power and rail transport.
2016
/ Significant Contracts and MSUA Award
Globalsat Brasil signed important contracts with Elektro (energy market) and Valec (rail market), where significant quantities of equipment are deployed, and value-added solutions are developed to meet the needs of these important clients.
We also received an award from the MSUA (Mobile Satellite Users Association) in the emergency response category for our role as a satellite service provider for the tsunami detection and alert system operated by the Government of Chile.
2017
/ Top Awards and US Expansion for Hurricane Response
We were awarded the "Top Land Mobility Satcom Innovation Award" by the Mobile Satellite Users Association (MSUA), and for the second consecutive year, Frost & Sullivan recognized us as the "Latin American Satellite Communications Company of the Year."
Through hard work, quality deliveries, and highlighting the professionalism and training of the team, Globalsat Brasil also won the Elektro Supplier Award in the Evolution Category that year.
Since 2017, the US subsidiary of Globalsat has been authorized by the FCC to provide telecommunications services originating in the United States.
This allowed the company to work with its local partner in Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria hit the Caribbean in 2017 and to contract private charter flights to transfer equipment and specialized personnel to the island, facilitating early access to satellite communications for first responders and other workers responding to the emergency.
2018
/ ST2 Acquisition and Caribbean Alliance
In January 2018, we took a bold step towards growth and expansion by reaching a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in ST2, a leading Peruvian connectivity provider.
Also, in 2018, our team in Brazil grew, and we moved to our new headquarters in Londrina. Additionally, during the same year, Globalsat and N-Sat, based in Puerto Rico, agreed to form a strategic alliance to create a new Caribbean division.
2019
/ Argentina License and Team Development
The Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) granted Globalsat Argentina the license to provide fixed and mobile satellite services throughout the country.
This milestone is the first step in the opening of Globalsat's commercial operation in the country.

It was also marked as a year of investment in developing leaders and team members. In parallel, and as a sign of successful organizational development, we obtained the GPTW seal in Brazil for the second consecutive year.
2020
/ M2M/IoT Leadership and Awards
Globalsat Brasil won the contract with the largest railway logistics operator in Brazil -Rumo Logística- and was awarded the ENEL project, consolidating Globalsat Group's leadership in the development of M2M / IoT solutions, highlighted by Inmarsat as an emblematic worldwide success case.
The same year, we were again awarded the Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year award. Globalsat Group became the first pan-American mobile satellite service provider to receive this award for the third time.
2021
/ Organizational Maturation and Recognition
This was a year for us to reorganize and mature our structure, with a plan where we invested in training and strengthening our culture.
As a result of our operational efficiency, we obtained the renewal of the Elektro/NEO contract for another 5 years.
In addition, we obtained the GPTW seal for the 4th year and being highlighted for the 2nd year by ACIL as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Londrina proves that the people who work here make Globalsat a better place every day.

/ Ecuador Opening and Innovation Award
We announced the opening of a presence in Ecuador.
At the same time, Globalsat Brazil was honored under the Innovation category with the Rumo Supplier Award and awarded the GPTW seal for the fifth consecutive year.

/ Environmental Impact Award
Globalsat received the MSUA's Satellite Mobility Innovation Award in the Environmental, Social, and Governance Impact category for a project carried out in Latin America through Globalsat Peru with Globalstar.
